A lot has been written about rich, “effective” nutrition, particularly with regard to building up and balancing vital functions. Here at KRAFFT, we can justifiably claim that the KRAFFT range of products is based on the very same concept. Fat and raw fibre
KRAFFT products are rich in fat and raw fibre, and with good reason. Fat is a superb source of energy for horses, metabolised easily; and compared with carbohydrates, it leaves lower residues in the muscle of horses performing strenuous work. The raw fibre content in horse feed is extremely important when it comes to maintaining the balance of microorganisms in the large intestine, where about 60% of the horse’s energy requirement is covered by conversion of raw fibre. To guarantee a balanced, safe supply of fat and raw fibre, our feed developed for performance horses is based on a special selection of oats, which we call KRAFFT HAVRE. This standard has been created in cooperation with scientists in Sweden. Our oats are supplied by a small number of hand-picked producers who guarantee and confirm the source and high quality of the oats we use.
